My Tried-and-True System for Consistent Content Creation
Have you ever found yourself in a content desert, scrolling through your feed, thinking, “Everyone seems to keep posting, but here I am, just… scrolling.”? Trust me, we’ve all been there. I’ve seen numerous bright minds struggle not with ideas, but with the daunting task of timely execution.
Back in my early days, I too wrestled with this monster called inconsistency. But with time, and experimentation, I’ve devised a productivity system. If you’ve been following my series, you know I’ve touched upon building a content strategy. Today, I’ll address the next crucial step: making time and staying motivated. Let’s dive in!
1. Prioritize & Set Realistic Expectations
“I can be most consistent when I have the opportunity to take smaller steps and tackle small tasks. Otherwise, it drains me immensely, and consistency goes out the window,” says Kačí Kočí, creator of Czechopedia.
The Struggle: Feeling like a hamster in a wheel with endless content generation.
The Strategy: It’s about quality, not quantity. Recognize your capacity and set realistic goals. Sometimes, a short, insightful piece can be as impactful as a lengthy article. By aligning your goals with your capacity, you can maintain consistency without feeling burnt out.
2. Create a Content Plan & Calendar
“I have a topic list and fixed days to post on,” shares business mentor Almar Hilmarsson, how he stays at the top of his game.
The Struggle: The eternal question, “What should I post today?”
The Strategy: Having a planned calendar changes the game. With a mix of formats and topics, you’ll never find yourself scratching your head for content ideas again.
3. Block Time & Batch Creation
“When in the zone, I prepare as many posts as possible to take advantage of the flow. When something comes to your mind, immediately execute it as ‘doing/posting it later’ may not always work,” says Kristýna Richtrová, Managing Director of ImmiGreat.
The Struggle: Time – the ever-elusive commodity.
The Strategy: Schedule specific blocks of time dedicated to content creation. Whether it’s once a week or monthly, stick to this schedule. And when inspiration strikes, milk it! This not only ensures a content reservoir but also saves you from last-minute hustles.
4. Automate & Delegate
What’s the best productivity tip according to the founder of Slowczech Eliška Kryslová: “Have someone doing it for you. And have it planned in advance.”
The Struggle: Feeling stretched thin managing every aspect of content creation and distribution.
The Strategy: Utilize scheduling tools to automate post timings. And if content creation isn’t your strength, delegate. This might mean hiring a professional writer, editor, or even a social media manager. By automating and delegating tasks that don’t require your personal touch, you can focus on what truly matters – crafting the message.
5. Accountability & Audience Engagement
The Struggle: Maintaining the drive.
The Strategy: Engage and announce. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my journey, it’s that keeping your audience in the loop acts as an accountability check. Let them wait for your content, anticipate it. That’s your driving force right there.

Consistently publishing content is about blending strategy with passion. It’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon. As I always say, the real magic is in the authenticity and impact of what you share. Keep it real, and your audience will resonate with it.
