3 Stories That Made My Day, May Edition
What’s one nice thing someone did for you, told you or said about you today? Here are another 3 stories that made your day. Thank you for sharing!
#1 Matt
“@ka.bouk made my day by taking one look at my ‘pants on face’ ex T-shirt mask and immediately making and posting me some competently sewn cloth face masks. Thank you Katka!”
Read Matt’s story about what brought him from the UK to Prague, how he made it here and what he thought about Brexit.
#2 Kasia & Micha
“Run your pockets and chip in a dollar three eighty five or so for the heroes in action – Doctors without borders! R.E.S.P.E.C.T. So grateful for these amazing people doing the work out there. Appreciating we have some ass-dough to contribute. L.O.V.E.”
Kasia moved to Prague from Poland. Last summer we talked about finding a job here, learning the language and finding happiness in life. Read the interview with her.
#3 Petra
“I had two made-my-days in five minutes, from the world behind face masks. First, I saw a girl getting flowers from a boy. She took the flowers, fixed up her face mask that was falling down and then kissed him. I walked 200 meters further and two gypsy kids turned to me, ‘Do you have a mask?!’ They checked me. ‘Very well,’ They seemed satisfied. Then I hear them educating some mask-less men on a bench a little further, ‘Put your masks on!’ :)”
Sun has sat, for now at least, on the Made My Day project and I’m moving on to some other new and exciting ones right now. However, if you do have a story of some awesome human interaction, I encourage you to share it with the world! 😀
