Futurum Music Bar

Get ready to groove and shake as I share my recent throwback experience at Futurum Music Bar, where nostalgia comes alive every Friday night at their 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s Video Party!

After a brief hiatus due to the pandemic, the legendary party is back, and it’s better than ever! Last Friday, my friends and I decided to relive the good old days and dance the night away to the greatest hits of the era – from Madonna to the Spice Girls to Duran Duran, Futurum has got it all!

If you’ve read my blog post from four years ago, Back to the Futurum, you know how much I adore these themed nights. The atmosphere is electric, and there’s something incredibly special about coming together with friends from all around the world, dancing to the tunes that defined our youth.

So, if you’re looking for a night of pure, unadulterated fun where you can let loose and embrace the music of the past, head out to Futurum Music Bar’s 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s Video Party! Trust me, it’s a blast from the past you won’t want to miss.

Cacao Prague

Allow me to introduce you to a hidden gem in our beautiful city: Cacao Prague, a delightful café that offers a little bit of everything to satisfy your cravings. From heavenly ice creams and desserts to their large breakfast menu and scrumptious lunch options, Cacao has you covered!

Located near the Powder Gate and Municipal House, Cacao Prague is an international concept originally from Slovenia, with three locations across Europe – including Portorož, where I first discovered this amazing spot! I instantly fell in love with their blueberry cheesecake, and was thrilled to find out that they have a location right here in our hometown!

My personal favorite at Cacao is their divine strawberry sorbet with prosecco – it’s like a unique, refreshing take on a mimosa.

Cacao is a family-friendly establishment with a spacious outdoor terrace that offers stunning views of our beloved city. The indoor atmosphere is just as charming, with historical arched ceilings that perfectly complement the minimalistic and modern design of the space.

So, if you’re looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious meal, a decadent dessert, or even just a soothing cup of coffee or tea, make your way to Cacao Prague. It might become your favorite spot in your Prague foodie adventures!

You’ll find yourself surrounded by greenery, watching birds, enjoying the Vltava River, and stopping by the numerous refreshment stations for beer, ice cream, and food along the way.

I’ve been visiting Trojská Kotlina at least once a week during the late spring and summer seasons, and it feels like a short vacation every time I get there. It’s an incredible place to unwind, exercise, or just take a leisurely stroll while appreciating the surroundings.

Trojská Kotlina has a rich history and is home to significant cultural sites like the Troja Chateau, the Prague Zoo, and the Botanical Garden. Next time you’re craving some peace and quiet in nature, head over to Trojská Kotlina and let your stress melt away.
