With Rekola, you can unlock a bike by simply scanning a QR code, and you’re good to go! It’s perfect for those short trips up to 3 km around the city. Plus, you can return the bikes in a wider area around the city center, making it super convenient for all your urban adventures.

Cathedral Café

Discover Cathedral Café, located in the heart of Prague, just a stone’s throw away from the vibrant Old Town Square. This charming café welcomes you with its unique “a la provance” ambiance, providing the ideal setting for a tranquil and rejuvenating pause.

Cathedral Café was actually recommended to me by a British reader of Prague Actually, who claimed it was the most authentic English breakfast she’d had in our city. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try. While the English breakfast was indeed very authentic, I must admit that I personally prefer less traditional versions.

But fear not! Cathedral Café has plenty more to offer. I absolutely loved the ambience, and their Doubleshot coffee was excellent. Plus, they have a lovely courtyard area where you can enjoy their summer and winter gardens, making it the perfect place to unwind in any weather.

In addition to their superb coffee and delightful atmosphere, Cathedral Café serves up great food, desserts, and a selection of Czech and Italian wines from the finest winemakers.

So, if you’re looking for a cozy hideaway head out to Cathedral Café. It’s a lovely gem waiting to be discovered.

Nhà hai hành

Step into a world of vibrant flavors and Vietnamese charm at Nhà hai hành, the restaurant that has taken Prague by storm! This vibrant bistro gained popularity after its remarkable success in a TV competition of restaurants hosted by a renowned chef Pohlreich.

As my friend Dominika and I entered, we were instantly transported to the lively streets of Vietnam and we couldn’t wait to experience the magic of Mâm style dining—a communal feast where dishes are placed in the center of the table.

Aromatic rice, succulent caramelized meat, pickled daikon, crispy roasted pork belly, and a comforting soup filled our senses. Each bite was an explosion of flavors.

What sets Nhà hai hành apart is the fusion of talents in the kitchen. The bistro is run by a Czech chef and his Vietnamese wife, infusing the best of both cultures into their creations. Their journey began with a love for Vietnamese cuisine and the significance of shared meals during their travels.

Inspired by their experiences, they embarked on a culinary adventure to learn traditional Vietnamese recipes. After meticulous planning and hard work, they opened their family bistro, where they strive to bring Vietnamese culture to your plate. It’s a unique experience they call “Vietnamese punk,” and it’s truly worth it.

If you’re seeking an extraordinary dining experience, make your way to Nhà hai hành. Discover the vibrant flavors, immerse yourself in the inviting atmosphere, and let the magic transport you to the bustling streets of Vietnam.
